今天超級興奮的，要照超音波看看大頭寶寶長的好不好，為了這個原因跟著南加州勤奮上班的人一起起個大早，開車到醫院去。

寶寶長的很好，大頭、身體、腿兒都長到了 17 週半的大小，體重預估已經有 7 oz，大概 200-220 g 左右，跟塊牛排一樣大吧，讓媽媽我心花怒放。照超音波是個讓人很感動的過程，看到寶寶的脊椎一節一節亮晶晶的串成一串兒，真的很漂亮，還看到心臟撲通撲通規律跳著，又清楚又明白，寶寶在告訴我他是個努力生長的小傢伙，媽媽我雖然不用為寶寶努力加餐飯，但也跟寶寶一起努力健康快樂的過生活。

本大嬸我結婚的時候也很感動，不過我感動起來笑得嘴巴合不攏，J 媽後來看著照片說〝一張笑的比一張開心啊。〞今天也是，菲律賓姊姊幫我在旁邊錄影，就聽到我一邊驚奇地哇啦哇啦叫，一邊呵呵笑。有這種娘，大頭寶寶一定也是愛笑的啦。

末了到了緊張的時刻，我們要來看看寶寶的性別，結果是：

大頭寶寶不但把兩隻腳夾的緊緊的〈我們明顯看到兩支交叉的腿兒〉，在技術師揉揉敲敲我的肚子以後，他乾脆用手遮住重要部位〈那個白圈圈裡就是他的小手〉，不給看就是不給看，搞的技術師也沒輒，換了幾個角度都被寶寶遮個嚴嚴實實的。技術師有點無奈，不過也安慰我〝好吧，今天不是好日子，你可以下週再來，表明說你只是要看性別，收費會很便宜的。〞

大頭媽媽是個豪邁的女人，大頭爸爸是個害羞的男人，推理一下，我心理自動幫寶寶想了性別，噗......

跟孩子的爹商量過後，再看看要不要特地去查性別吧。下次一定要給寶寶行前教育，跟他說〝你乖乖腿張開，出生以後媽媽給你買漂亮的玩具喔。〞〈這算哪門子的家庭教育啊？〉

I went to the hospital to have my second ultrasound check on the baby toady. The baby is doing great, having the head, body and the leg grown to the size for approximately 17 weeks old. The technician told me that the baby is about 7 oz in weight, which in my mind is about the size of a steak.

It is quite a nice process doing the ultrasound check, since I can really "see" the baby. Seeing the beautiful, shining spine, the big head, and the little hear that is pumping all the time, etc. is such a fulfilling feeling to me. I just love it.

In the end, we tried to tell the sex of the baby, but the baby is playing with us. First the baby got the leg crossed, then he used his little hand to cover the "important area", so that we can not see through in any angle. I guess the baby learned from his dad to be introverted and shy, and I should start to influence the baby to have an out-going personality.

Maybe next time, I will try to bribe the baby a bit and see if we can tell the sex. But before that, I am just happy to know that my baby is healthy :)
